We are a boutique, woman owned law firm in Walla Walla focused on family law and consulting with small businesses and wineries. We represent, counsel, and advocate on behalf of families, small businesses, and individuals. Our goal is to listen to our clients, take the problem off their shoulders, and put the problem squarely on ours. Being a small firm affords us the ability to provide the personal touches and responsiveness that clients appreciate and expect. WINERY LAW

Garratt Law has advised vineyard and winery owners in Washington State in all aspects of wine law, including vineyard and winery acquisitions; grape purchase agreements and vineyard leases; state and federal licensing; distribution and export agreements; intellectual property protection; and federal label approval issues.

Angela Reynvaan Garratt, Owner/Attorney

Angela grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington and later attended Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, California. In 2003, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. After college she returned back home to the Pacific Northwest, attended law school at Seattle University School of Law, and then started her career at Stafford Frey Cooper, a boutique litigation firm in Seattle. In 2009, she and her husband Chris relocated to Walla Walla to help Angela’s family start a winery, and decided to make Walla Walla their home. Since their arrival, Angela and Chris have welcomed three kids into the mix—ages 9, 8 and 4.

During her legal career, Angela has represented a variety of individuals and corporations, including the Seattle Police Department; professional sports teams and athletes as well as large manufacturing and production companies. Currently, Angela’s practice focuses primarily on family/domestic law, business advice, corporation formation, and wine law.

Away from her practice, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading and watching every true-crime documentary she can get her hands on.

Practice Philosophy

Angela believes that clients deserve a sophisticated lawyer who is tough and thorough, but most of all one who understands and cares about the client as a person, as well as their immediate and long term goals. Helping a client navigate the toughest and most challenging moments of their lives is the most rewarding part of her practice.

PRICING

Garratt Law offers flexible pricing and payment plans to suit each client’s specific needs, including flat fees for document preparation and mutually agreeable caps for hourly projects. We always discuss pricing in detail, in advance. We also offer one-hour consultations with an attorney to discuss their case before formal representation occurs. This allows clients to determine whether or not to move forward with their case, and whether a particular attorney is a good fit for them. The consultation will only cost the client that attorney’s hourly rate. Transparency and easy billing practices are at the core of our business.
